Gymnastics is the 4th most popular social sport in Denmark. 2% of Danes practice gymnastics and it’s also part of the national kindergarten curriculum. The DGI or Danish Gymnastics and Sports Association holds a massive meet every 4 years where Danes gather from the entire country. In the 2009 meeting, 21,000 athletes participated. |
